A warm welcome to Assa Abloy Entrance Systems IDDS AB!
Mette Buchberg, with extensive experience in sales, product management and purchasing of bars and tubes for heavy industry, such as wind power, shares her thoughts on membership in SAMS.
Why did you choose to become a member of SAMS?
”"A colleague initiated the process, and when I joined in August, I was asked if it would be interesting. I have been part of several network groups in both Denmark and Sweden, but have always missed a group where you understand the problems and dynamics in the steel industry. SAMS seems to be able to offer a platform for debate, development and influence within the industry."”
What do you consider to be the most important issues for the industry organization?
”Sustainability, CBAM and the future of scrap-based or hydrogen-based production, as well as political decisions that affect us as purchasers and users of steel in production.”
What do you want to contribute to SAMS?
”"Personally, sparring and over 20 years of experience in the field. As Assa Abloy Entrance Systems IDDS AB, we want to share our experiences on how we handle sustainability, CBAM and political decisions that affect us."”
We look forward to a fruitful collaboration and exchange of knowledge and experiences with Assa Abloy Entrance Systems IDDS AB, and together strive to drive the steel industry forward towards a more sustainable and innovative future.
