Extension of steel safeguard

On June 25, it was announced that the EU would extend the steel safeguard measure for another two years until June 2026.

This decision has been taken in accordance with an investigation which showed that the safeguard measure is still necessary to prevent or remedy serious injury to the EU steel industry.
